A kereszt\u00e9ny hit szent szimb\u00f3lum\u00e1nak tisztelet\u00e9re tartott szertart\u00e1son nagysz\u00e1m\u00fa h\u00edv\u0151 vett r\u00e9szt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hom\u00edli\u00e1j\u00e1ban \u0150eminenci\u00e1ja kiemelte, hogy az Istenember v\u00e9rtan\u00fa-\u00e1ldozat\u00e1nak eszk\u00f6ze milyen kiemelked\u0151 helyet foglal el a kereszt\u00e9nyek \u00e9let\u00e9ben \u00e9s felh\u00edvta a figyelmet a h\u00edv\u0151k \u00e9s cselekedeteik a kereszt jel\u00e9vel val\u00f3 megjel\u00f6l\u00e9s\u00e9nek fontoss\u00e1g\u00e1ra. Ez a jel k\u00eds\u00e9ri el a kereszt\u00e9nyeket sz\u00fclet\u00e9s\u00fckt\u0151l hal\u00e1lukig, ez szenteli meg \u00e9let\u00fck minden l\u00e9p\u00e9s\u00e9t \u00e9s tartja t\u00e1vol a gonosz er\u0151it. Kereszthal\u00e1l\u00e1val ezeket az emberrel ellens\u00e9ges \u00e9s hal\u00e1lhoz vezet\u0151 er\u0151ket gy\u0151zte le az \u00dar, \u00e9s nyitotta meg az utat a felt\u00e1mad\u00e1s \u00e9s az \u00e9let fel\u00e9 &#8211; hangs\u00falyozta \u0150eminenci\u00e1ja. A tov\u00e1bbiakban Szent Szophroniosz jeruzs\u00e1lemi p\u00e1tri\u00e1rka \u00e9s Szent J\u00e1nos Krizosztomosz konstantin\u00e1polyi p\u00e1tri\u00e1rka besz\u00e9deib\u0151l id\u00e9zett r\u00e9szleteket, amelyekben az egyh\u00e1zaty\u00e1k meger\u0151s\u00edtik a kereszt vil\u00e1gi \u00e9szt meghalad\u00f3 erej\u00e9t, amely a felt\u00e1mad\u00e1st \u00e9s elj\u00f6vend\u0151 \u00e9letet hirdet az eg\u00e9sz vil\u00e1gnak \u00e9s \u00edgy nek\u00fcnk is. Ez a v\u00e1rakoz\u00e1s arra k\u00e9szteti az embert, hogy saj\u00e1tjak\u00e9nt fogadja el a Megv\u00e1lt\u00f3 akarat\u00e1t, hogy vele egy\u00fctt \u00e9lhessen az \u00f6r\u00f6kk\u00e9val\u00f3s\u00e1gban (Gal 2,20). V\u00e9g\u00fcl pedig arra h\u00edvott meg mindenkit, hogy Krisztus egyh\u00e1z\u00e1nak tagjaik\u00e9nt a kereszthez tartoz\u00f3v\u00e1 v\u00e1ljanak, akik Isten f\u00e9lelm\u00e9ben felveszik saj\u00e1t keresztj\u00fcket, elhagynak minden vil\u00e1gi gondolkod\u00e1st, \u00e9s hittel \u00e9s t\u00fcrelemmel v\u00e1llalj\u00e1k a f\u00e1rads\u00e1got, az \u00e1ldozatot \u00e9s a szem\u00e9lyes aszk\u00e9zist az er\u00e9nyben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ezt k\u00f6vette a Szenth\u00e1roms\u00e1g-sz\u00e9kesegyh\u00e1z k\u00f6zep\u00e9n \u00e1ll\u00f3 szent \u00e9s tiszteletrem\u00e9lt\u00f3 kereszt felemel\u00e9se, mik\u00f6zben a h\u00edvek a &#8222;Mentsd meg, Uram, a Te n\u00e9pedet\u2026&#8221; c\u00edm\u0171 \u00e9neket \u00e9nekelt\u00e9k.
